During the summer after my second year of the architecture program at Cornell University, I went on a road trip with my professor and 10 other architecture students.  We went to about 40 of the 50 states and explored numerous national parks and oddities along the way.  I learned to love the in-between places of America and that there are thousands of vibrant interesting subcultures and communities in-between the metropolitan hubs on the coasts.
