In 2003  I got a bunch of fellow architecture and engineering students together to enter the 2005 Solar Decathlon Competition. This was an epic design + build project that involved more than 70 students.  I learned about leadership and the struggles of working on creative projects in groups.  In the end we produced a fully functioning off the grid solar powered house with an edible garden.
